• Summit Prospective Family Tour Sign-Up

    Prospective families are invited to take a guided tour of Summit. Please use this form to schedule your tour. Tours will be led by a school administrator, focusing on curriculum and student experience.

  • Who can attend Summit Elementary?

    • Students who live in the City of Charlottesville and are zoned to Summit. Use the city’s GIS tool to determine your elementary attendance zone. 

    • Students who live in the City of Charlottesville who have a qualifying reason to apply to attend Summit “out-of-zone.” Qualifying reasons:

      🔹Elementary student child-care issues (e.g. you are zoned to another school but your primary child care lives in the Summit zone)
      🔹Change of residence during the course of the year
      🔹Residence will be impacted by upcoming elementary rezoning. Learn about rezoning.
      Please note: City of Charlottesville residents cannot attend an out-of-zone elementary school for any reason other than those listed above.
    • Students who do NOT live in the City of Charlottesville and wish to attend Summit as a tuition-paying nonresident.
